1249144 2011-12-17 07:14:00 One in five women aged 45 has no children, new figures show, putting childlessness for women born in 1965 at a 45-year-high. From here (www.nzherald.co.nz).

The "science" behind this survey is a bit novel. I would have rashly guessed that not too many of the 1965 crop had children in 1972.

1249146 2011-12-17 08:43:00 The last of the responsible generation. You had kids when you got married and could support them and give them a decent upbringing without relying on the state. Now days, you just have kids, no need to be married, 3 or more Dads are fine, no need for a job or worrying about the skills for a job once the kids are old enough, no need about supporting them, educating them, worrying about money to feed and cloth them or paying for the luxury of power and telephone. The tax payer will look after all that for you while you pleed hardship and get hand out after hand out and sit back watching sky through your 50" Hi Def LCD tele!!! (And soon to all get free Freeview boxes once analogue TV gets switched off) Iantech (16386)

It was published in The Daily Mail so the statistics relate to the UK.
