The Sentencing (Vehicle Confiscation) Amendment Act gives the authorities the power to seize and destroy vehicles after the owner's third illegal street-racing conviction in four years. It came into effect in December 2009 and it is believed Forrest's car is the first to be crushed under the legislation. The car could be crushed next month but the offender has 28 days to appeal against his 1982 Toyota Corolla being crushed.	Bobh (5192)
