I will bet you voted green, if not most certainly for labour, they both know what is best for us. The fact is cigarette smoke smells bad. It doesn't matter whether 1 person says it or 1 billion people says it. You said those that say this are conforming to some flock mentality. That is just the dumbest thing I have ever heard. And your assumption on who I voted for proves your logic is flawed - wrong again. I will jokingly tell smokers, I know personally they should give up, and there it ends. I don't really care if they smoke or not, I don't understand why they do it, I just know being around it is not pleasant. |

Do you know much about the EA 3.9l? PM me if you like. I needa build one that can take some revs. I have an XR6 cam which is looking mint to put in it but wonder what other things they need to get going a bit. |

Smoking is simply a waste of money, a health risk and it smells awful - there are no upsides . You all sound like a bunch of little bitches . My Grandad use to say something like that, though he was ever mindful of non smokers in his presence. He smoked that terrible Tasman Dark, (like bark actually, sneaked some once - burn your lungs almost) night and day. But outlived some of his sons who rarely smoked. Hard farm work, beer, and hard roll up cigarettes, was his life till the age of 81. |

We all sound like a bunch of bitches or just me? Since my post was the only one you quoted out of many you could have chosen from, I'll assume your comments are directed mostly at me. Well considering I don't go to bars in general, get wasted and fight and spew up I don't really care what the smokers there smell like. But let's get this straight, I'm not attacking any smokers for smoking, that's their right if they want to do it (I said that before) I am only stating my personal view that smoking in general smells awful. Health effects do not bother me, as I keep away from it as much as possible anyway. The following not directed at anyone in particular: I would challenge ANY smoker to tell me that the very first time they took that puff they said "WOW, this is so nice!, Let me have another" There are psychological, sociological and physiological reasons why people smoke. I also notice that apart from the claim from some smokers that "smoking doesn't smell that bad" (which I say is lies, if you quit smoking then go smell some afterwards you're going to realise just how bad it is) nobody has challenged my statement either: "Smoking is simply a waste of money, a health risk and it smells awful - there are no upsides." Anyone who tries to disagree with that is clearly in denial or deluded. |

As far as I know, the enjoyment only comes from the fact that a smoker must satiate a desire which only exists because they are addicted to smoking. No smoking - no addiction - no need for the "enjoyment". |
