I'm forever taking calls from him on how to connect to networks so he can check his emails with his laptop as he travels around, So I wanted to steer him to something that would always work without me having to configure it over the phone for him. |

I can reliably inform you that the same tactic does NOT work if you try it when you take your wife out for dinner... You pay one way or the other, and keep on paying. |

| 1249093 | 2011-12-21 08:35:00 | Bought myself a Transformer, wicked little beast, I talked to the wife about it, Told her it was going to be good for books. (and games, comics, movies, internet, email) Not at all interested, stated in no uncertain terms that real books was where its at. So, I fire it up, I hook into the Kindle store, I buy a book, I start reading it (Iommi-Iron Man), shes looking over my shoulder, she wants to look at the books available ,shes downloaded a couple of samples, shes engrossed in them, she drops a ton of money on amazon (huge catalog, one click purchase, near instant delivery), and now she won't give me the damn thing back. |

That attitude sounds so familiar, I have one at home too. When will they recognise we know best? |
