You'll have difficultly finding a brand new CPU to fit this socket. Well spotted....I got caught with the ref i3 @ 3.3 thinking it was the 2120 model, but its obviously the i3-560 @ 3.33ghz....Clarkdale!....I would just clock the i3...I believe the Clarkdales are easier to clock than non-K Sandy Bridge! |

| 1272071 | 2012-05-03 13:15:00 | hey guys thanks for all the input =) what ive done is grabbed a new mobo msi p55a Fuzion 1156, new psu - Cooler Master eXtreme Power Plus 700W, ive kept the i3 at 3.3ghz and im planning to sli with another gtx 550 ti. however this mobo has the lucid chip and allows me to mix and match any Nvidea and any ATI for multi gpu processing. im planning on gaming on three moniters on at least 1600 x 900. a new cpu may not help me so ill just oc to avoid bottlenecking. any thoughts on what ive done? nvidea surround vs eyefinity? |
