1248701 2011-12-15 04:50:00 Rang a mate up there today, he requested a pair of flippers and a snorkel
Saw it on the news, not a good look for sunny Nelson.
Thanks for the pics Gary
Take care all those in Nelson and stay safe, our thoughts are with you.

1248705 2011-12-16 19:31:00 Yeah things are returning to normal here although it's probably going to take 6-12 months to clear up from all the major slips around the region gary67 (56)
1248706 2011-12-17 09:21:00 A aerial survay this morning showed 230 slips in Nelson City , plus heaps more in outlying areas in Golden Bay etc. Arnie (6624)
1248707 2011-12-19 22:43:00 How are things going? your house safe?

You back at being mobile about streets? or just beating the feet?

1248708 2011-12-20 01:00:00 Well only one road is going to be open into Nelson city for a while, the seafront one Rocks Road is closed indefinitely due to major slips, our house is fine and so is everyone we know. I'm sure our chickens became ducks for a couple of days though. I could drive if I wanted too around most of the area but I prefer to cycle gary67 (56)
