If we are unhappy with what is sold, we could consider the fat proding foods that must kill people and the booze industry does quite a good job of killing. But no, we want to stop smokers. |

My argument is logical, not weak at all, if you have worked in bars the smell of smoke is the last thing you would worry about.... Nothing wrong with being a hypocrite either, every single one of us are. |

Personally,I don't seek to stop any of it. But my crusade isn't the point I was making. I'd rather everyone turned their attention to child abuse, and specifically the social conditions that allow child abusers to be protected by "cultural sensitivity". |

| 1249489 | 2011-12-22 00:25:00 | Exactly the point. It is? Well, Maybe I'm slow, because I either can't see your point,or its so obvious Im staring right past it. What is your point, exactly? I hope its not that the majority of the community defines what is socially acceptable in any age,as that was my point. If it so happens that the majority want something, then so be it, this works for and against an individuals personal personal view point but that applies to every single person. The real power, all the power is in the hands of the people, but that power can only be wielded in a group. And if your not in the group you have no power. Yet, you would call them, the whiny little bitches.:illogical |

| 1249490 | 2011-12-22 00:40:00 | This new 'regulation' of second hand smoke story... more regulations or basically people telling other people how to run their business. They (lobby groups or whiney little bitches, you can decide) have already forced bars to accommodate their views, the bar owners had no choice even though they are selling something just as bad if not worse. So when these little nanny groups get tired of smokers are drinkers next? Are they going to say you can only drink standing on one leg then fine the bar owner if peeps dont comply? | rob_on_guitar (4196) | ||
| 1249491 | 2011-12-22 00:41:00 | So, Your point is that society shouldn't be able to define its own acceptable social values? And that morally, everyone should be able to do whatever they like as long as its for a buck? Well, its not up to me to tell you how to think. But what a great vision. |
