i bet u didn do a clean instalwith ME - first install ie5-5 on ur exciting win98 then uprade to ie5-5 when all is running fine ... go to exporer and delete the widowd directory FILES - not the whole dire tory. ie u've got windows/system/and lots of other directories runn of the main windowds directory - just delete the main directory files ONLY nothing else - - then proceed to install ME from the CD and all will be fine - - note do note at any stage reboot in between. |
