| 10816 | 2001-04-03 22:23:00 | The company has recently converted to Outlook as its email software. I am having a problem with attachments. The supplier I am sending them to is recieving a file of the correct size but is seems as though the file is embedded in the message. There is no icon to click on to save the attched file. I am still able to send the attachments using Pegasus Mail. Is there anyone able to shed some light on this problem. | Guest (0) | ||
| 10817 | 2001-04-04 22:04:00 | Hi I am afraid I can't help as I have hed this problem on and off for a long time. I use Eudora for email and I had 2 people that always did the prob you are talking about when they used Outlook but was fine when they used another program. If I used Outlook to receive these emails they came OK. I would check to see what email program your supplier uses.I now have 1 person that sends me attachments and they come in as a winmail.dat file and are unreadable. I have posted these probs here before a long time ago with no answer but maybe someone out there knows something. CJ |
