| 10783 | 2001-04-03 03:44:00 | If you are happy to edit the registry use regedit to navigate your way to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\MediaPlayer\P layer\RecentFileList, and in the right hand window delete the entries. I dont have MS Word but its probably the same method. Regedit.exe is in the \Windows folder. |

In word go to Tools-> Options and on the genral tab there is a box to specify the number of files in the recently used list. Set this to zero - problem solved. (you may have to close and open word to check it). (I am not sure if it deletes the filenames from the regestry) |
