| 10767 | 2001-04-02 21:30:00 | To stop a programme going on the Start Up Bar (in this case a newly loaded Sidewinder joystick), do I just delete it from the Start Up Folder? I've tried rightclicking the Unload Button when it appears on the bar, and it comes back when I next switch on. I don't need it to load every time I switch on, as it is not in regular use. In fact I don't need all the fancy bits it's with - I just want a simple joystick, like I had when I had Windows 95! |

The simplest way to do this is run 'Msconfig', click on Startup tab, and uncheck the programs you don't want to load at startup. |
