| 10741 | 2001-04-02 01:36:00 | This query may have been answered before. If so, please point me to the previous posting(s). I am trying to set up a video chat room using NetMeeting. How do I sign up to a chat room (I'm looking for one that provides two-way video while being free to use - is there such a thing?), and do I need to register the equivalent of a phone number? I tried doing this through the microsoft messenger links in NetMeeting, but this didn't work (it wouldn't accept the 'details' page). Any help would be appreciated. |

Unless you are frequently contacting specfic people where you can arrange a call using their IP address (ICQ is good in this case to see if they are on-line), It is usual to use an intermediate server or 'ILS' server to make contact. You can get lots of information from: http://www.netmeet.net/ |
