| 10793 | 2001-04-03 05:23:00 | I had trouble booting my computer, so it started in Safe Mode(Win 98). Everything was OK I thought so I restarted to get out of Safe Mode. But after rebooting I found that i was stuck in Safe Mode, the only thing was that it isn't safe mode because it doesn't say so on the screen. So I'm stuck with only 16 colours & most programs unavailible. I've tried rebooting, I've tried changeing settings but everytime I restart it reverts back to this weird sort of Safe Mode! |

| 10794 | 2001-04-03 20:42:00 | I suspect that your PC is not in safe mode, it just looks like it is because of the 16 colours. If you cannot adjust the number of colours to >16 then the problem is with your video card drivers. What was the original 'trouble booting'? | Guest (0) | ||
| 10795 | 2001-04-04 11:17:00 | Bingo! The original problem was that the video card had fallen out inside the computer. So I had help putting it back in. I will try to see if the driver for it is on or not. |
