| 10886 | 2001-04-05 12:09:00 | I am running WindowsME and jsut recently went to try and search for a file using the search feature from the taskbar. However I can enter the information and click on 'search now' and nothing happens. I have tried to get it to search by typing '*.exe' but nothing happens. Regards Colin |

| 10888 | 2001-04-07 22:34:00 | I was hoping that there may be an easier solution. I am not sure when the search feature was last working so I may have to go back quite a few restore points before it starts working again, and that will mean reinstalling anything that was changed after that point. The restore feature is good for recent changes but I dont think it is so great if you find a problem a month or so later. Thanks for your response. Colin |
