| 11042 | 2001-04-08 04:00:00 | I am creating an invoice form in Word. I have no problem in creating fields with formulas to add or multiply. What I can't get to work is creating a formula to take a $ amount from a cell and multiply by 12.5% for GST to deliver a GST figure on the goods. Be grateful if someone has been successful with a formula I can use. I have tried =PRODUCT(0.125,D10) where D10 is the cell I am operating on, it contains the nett amount, I want the GST on the nett amount. Also tried =(12.5%D10) |

As I tab thru the fields it does not necessarily register a figure here. Is it sequence dependent? Does it need a trigger? I am not to conversant with the complexities of formulas in tables. |
