11035	2001-04-08 00:58:00	my internet dial up connection keeps bringing up a box every 5 minutes or so. I have recently installed Norton Systemworks and Firewall 2001, could this be the problem? Thanks	Guest (0)
11036	2001-04-08 04:30:00	There are a number of functions which could be causing this. May I suggest the following three: (i) I am not familar with your Norton's version - but check its 'Program Scheduler' (probably found in your programmes off the Start bar) and ensure nothing in there is 'checked' which effects a live connection. (ii) Check your 'Synchronisation Programmer' - go Start > Programmes > Accessories > Synchronise. Look and see if you have any thing scheduled for live updates (web pages etc)and what the settings are. Uncheck as required. (iii) Do the same with your 'Scheduled Tasks' - Go Start > Programmes > Accessories > System Tools. ...Good Luck.	Guest (0)
