I recently purchased windows ME upgrade only to find that no matter what I did or what Microsoft recommended i was unable to 'restart' my computer. As you all know it is necessary to restart your computer for some programs to load properly. The only conclusions that microsoft could come up with was that my computer needed a Bios upgrade ? my computer is less than two years old and is a pentium three with 128 ram and running on windows 98 first edition. has anyone any suggestions as I hear bios upgrades are a very volatile process. thanks in anticipation Pete |
