| 11069 | 2001-04-08 18:57:00 | I have several computers connected together in a network and it all works fine. However i have a printer and a scanner connected to one of the computers and I want to be able to use both of them from one of the other machines. I can use the printer ok but not the scanner. Can anyone tell me how I can make the scanner work from a different machine on the network just like the printer. Allan |

The only scanners I have seen so far that are networkable are the HP 6300 series from Hewlett Packhard and ones that are part of Ricoh copiers. The HP ones I found very easy to set up, so would recommend them. |

However as already mentiond there are some available which can have this happen. Some I have seen plug into the network themselves. not though scsi or usb etc, but into your hub or other network adaption | Guest (0) | ||
