11196	2001-04-11 14:39:00	I have an IBM T20 which has one drive slot for floppy or CD Rom. It has NT installed and I wish to add Win98 also. Using Win98 startup disk I have created a Fat32 partion to install 98 on to. Now the problem that I need the CD rom drive to load Win98 but the floppy drive to start . I have tried to boot from the new partion but it will not start only giving a message 'Missing operating system'. Is there a way that I can boot from the new C: partion so the CD drive can be loaded. I have copied the start up disk to c: but still the same prolem. I have changed the autoexec file but am unsure of where to look. Any help would be great. Thanks	Guest (0)
11197	2001-04-12 05:37:00	Things may not be as simple as you hope for unfortunantly. To answer your question the partiton should be made active (if it wasn't done when you created it - an options in whatever program you used) and then boot off your disk and at the prompt enter 'sys c:' (Without the ''s) If your using Win2000 disregard the following: If your're running NT4 with a NTFS then you won't be able to dual boot with a FAT32 partiton. Windows NT needs the active partiton (to dual boot) to be FAT. Look at the following site for more info www.worldowindows.com	Guest (0)
