| 11193 | 2001-04-11 12:33:00 | When using Office 97 the PC errors out with 'This prog has performed an illegal operation & will be shut down' Excel (or Word etc) caused an invalid page fault in module VBA.Dll at 017F:65176189 (or whichever page no. at the time. The HDD has been rebuilt several times and I even tried a new HDD to no avail. All Office 97 apps do this - even after being reinstalled and the HDD being reformatted. The PC is an Intel 233MMX running Windows 98SE With MS Office 97. This fault only occurs when using forms and the Wizard in individual Apps ! Help !!! |

| 11194 | 2001-04-11 23:26:00 | I dont have a ready answer to this problem, but doing a quick search reveals many people have similar problems with the invalid page fault occurring in vba232.dll and vba332.dll when using Office components and/or Access. The problem seems to be associated with using visual basic editor. Have a look at this site: www.computing.net and also search the Microsoft Knowledge Base at : http://support.microsoft.com/ using the phrase: invalid page fault in module vbaxxx.dll, ie try vba 232.dll, vba332.dll, and vba322.dll, you may just may find an answer but even MS doesnt seem to know exactly! |
