11115	2001-04-10 07:29:00	hi, i am running win 98se in my toshiba satellite laptop - for some time now when ever i open the windows explorer and open a dir it appears there are no contents there until i go to the veiw menu and change the selection from detial to list - some times i have to do this every time i select a new sub folder or directory and some times it seems to remember when i have been to that one and keeps it on list. i have completed a virus scan with the latest dats - clean, reinstalled win 98 over its self from the cabs, as well as running sfc - still noithing -...? cheers will	Guest (0)
11116	2001-04-14 08:12:00	Have a look under folder options for anything that is disabled or prevents you from seeing all your files (tools/folderoptions/ view tab) Might me somthing here. Also i had the same problem back in win 3.1 days with File Manager (pre windwos explorer). I somehow had a second window of theentire computer open which didnt alow me to see the contents behind it. follow?? Adding ram helped to. Try these, hope they help	Guest (0)
