| 11109 | 2001-04-10 02:23:00 | When I inserted a music CD, Windows 2000 used to startup Windows CD player and begin playing the CD. Now when I insert an audio CD ROM the error message 'Access to the specified device, path or file is denied' appears. Any ideas? Cheers. |

Now with a CD in your drive right click the CD Drive and select Open so the AutoRun doesnt kick in and d-click an audio track. It will then ask for a program to associate the file with - choose your cd player of choice (eg Windows Media player etc). It may pay to reboot after this just to refresh things - should work now (fingers crossed). good luck. |
