11240	2001-04-12 10:36:00	Some advice please. I have put 2, 20 gig ATA 100 drives (7200)on the RAID IDE connectors, under RAID 0 giving a total of 40 Gig. OS is W2K. CPU AMD 1.2 Athalon I was going to put a removable HDD on the standard Primary IDE controller and the and the HP CD Writer on the secondary IDE. Should both of these be (Removable HDD and CD) be configured (with the pins) as Masters?? If the Removable HDD is e.g. ATA 33 5200 rpm, when its on line, (in its caddy) with the rest of the system, will it slow down the RAID drives? Your advice apprecited. Thanks ...David	Guest (0)
