11349 2001-04-15 11:23:00 In making a powerpoint slide show. I am having problems with the file size for e-mailing. Can anyone help with reducing the file size. Guest (0)

If you are using a lot of graphics on your slides the file size will balloon up very quickly since these images are embeded into the powerpoint file. You can shrink the file for emailing by 'zipping' it, the most popular program for doing this is WinZip. You can download the program from www.winzip.com. The person who is receiving the file can then expand the file by un-zipping it.

11351 2003-03-10 02:40:00 You can copy and paste into a photoimaging program such as Adobe Photoshop Elements and save as a JPG file of about 50 KB size and this will be plenty big enough for attaching to an e-mail Sabre (285)
