11272 2001-04-13 10:18:00 In a recent PC World there was a useful list of keyboard shortcuts for inserting various special characters. But try as I might, I have been unable to find out if there is one for the Pound Sterling symbol.

1) Where can I find the COMPLETE LIST of Microsoft Word keyboard shortcuts?

2) Is there one for '?'?

Hope this helps.

11274 2001-04-13 12:25:00 The ? symbol is generated by holding down the 'Alt' key then pressing 156 on the numeric keyboard then releasing the 'Alt' key. Guest (0)
11275 2001-04-14 00:27:00 You can get a full list of Word keyboard shortcuts from the Microsoft Support site:
support.microsoft.com

There is also a useful tip to make ALT L the shortcut in Word only for the ? pound sign at:
www.drdisk.com.hk

Cheers

11276 2001-04-14 23:05:00 Thanks for the reply. The 'full' list of keyboard shortcuts you mention is not full at all though. The How To - Word Processing in the March NZ PC World lists a number not mentioned at the Microsoft site, such as Spanish upsidedown question mark (<CTRL>-<ALT>-?) and the cent symbol(<CTRL>-/c). Where is the FULL list?! Guest (0)
