11338 2001-04-15 08:15:00 Just a quick note to all those who wrote with advise to my problem with the Monitor failing to initialize.
Its fixed! The cause for future reference was not the monitor or lead neither was it the BIOS or the graphics card, it was a faulty RAM module. Once removed (and returned for replacement) the machine has fired up first time every time. For PC builders a little tip, just because a motherboard manuel says it supports different RAM speeds eg 100mtz or 133 mtz does not mean that it really will
unless you are running a processor at the same speed as the RAM.
