Passwords - if you mean applications et wordproc - then File, Save as, Options, and use the space for passwords. Also check the Help Menu in the application as in Word 97 it expands on this. | 11516 | 2001-04-20 23:27:00 | An easy way is to zip the file and then use the WINZIP password protection to secure it. A better way is to use PGP - Pretty Good Privacy. PGP can be downloaded for free from any tucows site and is sometimes on the cover CD of NZ PC World. I use this to protect documents that I store on Freespace.com The files are very well protected and can only be opened using my private encryption key. |
