11413 2001-04-17 01:15:00 I installed MSN Explorer a while back, which stopped Outlook Express 5 working. I uninstalled MSN Explorer, but OE5 would not work .I reinstalled IE5, which fixed OE5, but stopped IE5 from working. I installed IE5.5 without avail. The only way i could use IE5.5 was to click on a link in Outlook Express to open a browser window. Opening it normally or through another program would not work. I installed IE6 today, but now opeing it through Outlook would not work, and Neoplanet (which uses IE) won't work. What should i do? Guest (0)
11414 2001-04-17 03:29:00 ...hmmm, what a pickle. Once installed, Microsoft's Internet Explorer becomes an integral part of your whole OS and any subsequent changes can cause extensive alterations to your entire system.

Although I defer to wiser heads than mine that provide suggestions on this board - you may find the solution to your current problem(s) is to reformatt and start again.

Because 'Internet Explorer 6' is currently in BETA form, many will advise against its installation ... unless you are an Advanced user.

Good Luck !!!

11415 2001-04-17 05:06:00 ...just an after-thought - you might find some assistance in the following MS Knowledge Base article. Although it deals mainly with installing and uninstalling individual IE components, there are links to other KB articles which may be relevant:
