11392	2001-04-16 12:52:00	Hi, recently i sent my monitor to a computer shop for repairs. the problem was that the monitor showed nothing when i turned it on. After i had it back, i could see pictures, but the view area became distorted! I went back to the shop, people there said that, it was bcoz of the effect of earth magnetic field. Could anybody tell me if that's true?! If it's really so ... then ... why do i bother to buy a new monitor?! it will turn to the same situation like i am having now!? Please .. help me ... thanks a lot!!! PS: I am using windows Me, would there be any other possibilities? (the causes ...)	Guest (0)

Damn thats a new one, I think they are trying it on with you, I don't see how the very mild magnetic field can possibly affect your monitor and not the 1,000,000's of others all over the country.
