11382 2001-04-16 07:48:00 Hello there,

is it possible to connect to the internet using my calling card?
I'm using ipaq (pocketpc) with t28s DI 28 ir modem and it's fine when i connect directly to zfree..but it's so expensive!!! so i decided to try using a calling card with 0800 number but i can't get it works because i dont know the dial-string modem commands for that...

plese help me if you know something that might work..

example:
nettel number(calling card): 0800200136
card number : 004847104371
Zfree dial up number: 09 9120240

what should i put on the dial up setting (dial-string modem commands) or whatever...plz help me with step by step instructions..

thanks alot...

Enter the numbers into the dial box just as you would if you were dialling in manually. You may have to insert a couple of comma's between each set of numbers to allow a pause.

For example,
0800200136,,004847104371,,09 9120240

I havn't used this service before so you may need to insert a couple more pauses to get the sequence correct.

I've tried it but 'No Carrier detected. Verify phone number and then try again' appears everytime i try to connect...any clues?

thanks,
