11407 2001-04-16 21:33:00 When I first turn my PC on, the start-up screen (the one that shows Memory etc) is set to the left and I can not read the first three letters on any line. I know that this is not a big deal but I like to have every thing looking right.
Someone suggested that this has been caused by a corruption possibly in the bios and that the start-up is using an incorrect monitor driver. However, the display drivers that I have do not seem to correct the problem. Has anyone got any ideas as to how I can correct this problem?

11408 2001-04-17 01:01:00 Have you tried to physically adjust the monitor from its controls ie, move the screen to the right? Guest (0)
11409 2001-04-17 01:12:00 Sorry. I should have said. Yes I have tried to alter the monitor. No Good. It obviously does move but next time I sign on, its back to whee it was. Also, it is only on the first ever screen. Once the program calls Dos and Win98SE th e graphics card take over and all is back to normal. Guest (0)
