In the dos SCANDISK, it gave a message saying something like 'Drive D: shows signs of severe damage...etc.' Is my hard drive failing? It is a maxtor 850.1MB hard drive (D:\) | Guest (0)

The problem being that if and when it does go it will be at the most inconvenient time & without warning, ~ Murphy's Law. If you have access to Ghost (requires a second media) this will be the quickest way to transfer your whole system and data to a new drive and be running again.Must do this before the HDD fails for the final time. | Guest (0)
