11571 2001-04-19 10:29:00 I ran a system info program which recommends that I enable DMA transfers. I presume this is the options in the system hardware managers under drives. Windows says that if not compatible, some undesirable effects may happen, it also says that if you do it and it is NOT supported then it wont be selected when you check again. What is the worst case scenario? Is it worth having selected?

Cheers
