11560 2001-04-19 04:13:00 I get a blue screen whilst in any application (e.g. Explorer, Photoshop 5.5, control panel etc.) with the msg...'A fatal exception OE has occured at 0028:C0031C6C. The current application will be terminated'. I then lose use of the MS USB Optical Intellimouse & try to reboot but it hangs on the exit screen. I'm running an AMD K6 500 w/256 MB Ram, 32MB GeForce Pro DDR Display Card on Windows 98SE. PLEASE help as I can do nothing on the machine without it crashing... Guest (0)
11561 2001-04-19 07:26:00 If the mouse is a recent adition, remove it and all associated software. Try using your PC without the mouse plugged in. Blue screens are also commonly caused by faulty RAM. If you have more than one chip, try removing one at a time and see if problem goes away. Guest (0)
