11601 2001-04-20 04:23:00 My PC was running slow and people say that a defrag is a good thing to do everynow and then. So I ran the defrag program and it had done 1% when it said something along the lines of - Cannot proceed because of disk errors or something. So I went into Explorer, right clicked on C: and was going to run scandisk when I noticed that I only had 1.22GB left.
My hard drive is 9.5GB and it is in two partitions, one has 7.3GB and the other has 2.2GB.
Now I knew that I definitely didnt have 1.22GB left on the C drive. So I went through and added up all of the file sizes for each folder on C:. That ended up being around 2GB. But why is it showing up as 1.22 instead of 5.3? I don't know if it's a coincidence but the D: drive (the one with 2.2GB) has 1.22GB left on it(that is a fact.) So I ran scandisk and got it to fix errors, and then tried to re-defrag but it still said that the disk had errors.
Please Help me!!!!!! ( and I hope this makes some sense. :] )

Or look at shareware sites for fix it utilities.
