| 11649 | 2001-04-21 21:27:00 | I have a 60 minute TV Documentary on Video tape I want to transfer to CD and send to someone overseas to play in their PC. How do I do this? Resourses on hand include a TV tuner card in the PC, It says something about capture. Some CD Burner and burning software (Adaptec & access to Nero). A LAN between the PC and general vicinity of the VCR. I have no idea where to begin, do I have the right 'bits' and how to connect them all up. Can any one help? Many thanks. |

The video capture board should have come with some software, I couldn't tell you what it is, but have a look round for it. From there you pretty much run the software, and press record somewhere within the software, and press play on your VCR. That should capture the video. From there you need an encoder, which may be intgreted into the Video capture software, to save the video as AVI or MPEG. THen, burn the file onto the CD. | Guest (0) | ||
