I was somewhat nervous about hooking all that gear up together but it din't give me any problems in the end. I've got my HD and the DVD as master and slave on the primary connection cable and the CDWR and Zipdrive on the secondary cable. I advise to keep your bootHD as master on your primary connection and put your DVD on as slave. In my case the physical location of the drives played a role too because of cable length. I don't think that it makes a lot of difference how you connect things in regards to Video playback but I haven't got a graphics card with video out so I'm guessing. As long as you observe the correct jumper location on the drives for the M/S function you should be OK. Good luck. |
