| 11663 | 2001-04-22 02:00:00 | Can you please help? In some programs, in the 'open' dialogue boxes are rather small. When I push the view file details button and I usually want to sort by modified (to get the most recently altered files at the top), the button is out of view. I have to resize the name, size and file type columns before the modified one comes into view. Is there an easy way to set the first columns to a certain width so the modified one appears when I first push the details button in the dialogue box. The width of these columns seems to be under the influence of mysterious forces as they vary and seem to sense whenever I need that elusive button!!!! Is there a utility that does this or do I have to manually alter a windows file. Dimitri |

This will resize the columns to a size equal to the width of the widest item in the column. Or - make the adjustments you prefer then open the 'View Tab' in Folder Options and click 'Like Current Folder' then Okay. |
