| 11827 | 2001-04-26 09:59:00 | I'm running Windows 98SE, and have Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 installed. It runs fine, except that after I boot up the computer, and try to access a webpage, IE freezes up. The toolbars and the edges of the windows show up, but where the page is displayed, it just stays blank and sometimes shows part of the desktop, and you can't click on any part of it. I have to Ctrl+Alt+Del and end the program that way, after waiting 10 seconds or so. Once it closes that way, I can successfully start up IE. It's a pain and I don't know how to fix it. Any suggestions? Thanks. -- Hervard |
