| 12018 | 2001-04-30 10:44:00 | Hi,a friend of mine can't view photo's my brother in law sends him,when he opens the e-mail in outlook express.If my b-i-l sends them to me,they open automatically,in outlook express,so are there some settings my friend must change to allow him to see the photo's.Any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks Peter |

| 12019 | 2001-04-30 22:33:00 | Your friend has not got the application installed that your sender has sent the attatchment as. some digital camers come with photographic applications that allow them to alter the picture a bit. Suggest to your friend that the attatchments are sent as .giffs or .tiffs or .jpeg and lastly a .bmp then they will be readable in imaging or even paintbrush. one other point is if your friend has win95 installed from disks it does not include imaging program get that from kodak.com. |

| 12020 | 2001-05-01 22:40:00 | Sorry Tony,but the pictures are sent in jpg format,and so OE should open them.My version does automatically.I am just wondering if his is an earlier version,but I don't think so.I will have to check.Thanks for the ideas anyway. Peter |
