| 11979 | 2001-04-29 20:52:00 | Since reformatting my hard drives I get three windows saying 'finished winini' each time I start the computer. How can I stop them appearing ? |

| 11980 | 2001-04-30 09:21:00 | There is a virus with various names like w32/Msinit It sets up a file \windows\system\WININIT.EXE Remove this file There is a real file \windows\wininit.exe leave this alone. Then at start/run type msconfig Click on the startup tab and you will see ticked boxes with something like load=wininit.exe Untick them and hopefully on your next boot up there won't be any more winini's Have a look on the MeAffe web site virus information for more help on this pest! |
