Whenever I start my computer it comes up with the Windows Explorer window open. I want it to start with a clean desktop with just my short- cut icons showing. What do I do? |

first place I would look is in the 'startup folder' which is located in the 'programs' list.If there is any reference to windows explorer in there ? delete it. |

If that didn't work a more in depth look at startup would be to go start>run>type in 'msconfig' and select startup tab. Obviously select or deselect. This is for itermediate users but you can't go too badly if you know what you are selecting/deselecting. BE SURE. |
