I copied all of the emails from Vista to USB and installed onto the new PC. I tried to open the emails with the assigned folder but get this in the picture attached. Can't open the emails at all. |

How do you mean "copied" --- Majority of the time you cant simply copy/paste with emails - doesn't work like that. (there are times you can but I wont say how as it will only add confusion) Sometimes I find TB has problems opening .eml files from other programs. Thats why I wont use the piece of rubbish, seen way to many problems with it over the last year or so.
What program did you have when using Vista - was it windows mail ? |

It was using windows mail in vista. I got around it by extracting the emails to a temp folder and creating a new folder in thundebird and dragging and dropping the emails into the folders. The emails showed up no problem by doing that. |
