1249781 2011-12-20 03:07:00 Wonder how much it cost to figure that out??
We all knew that already from just watching the videos.

We all knew that already from just watching the videos.

And how much more is going to be spent over the next 12 months just to formally confirm the findings?

1249783 2011-12-20 08:08:00 Was the report done by Obvious Ltd.? pcuser42 (130)
1249784 2011-12-20 08:30:00 No it was done by the CAA. It was done under normal CAA procedure, no matter how obvious it was.

1249786 2011-12-20 09:30:00 Lot more to it than a guy pulling the strop. Was it part of the plan? If so who approved it? Who knew it was going to happen that way? Did the pilot know that it was part of the plan and did he approve - close work like this requires detailed planning and equallly detailed review. People covering their backsides before the insurance company takes a bite and OSH and similar start laying charges. Scouse (83)
1249787 2011-12-20 09:37:00 We all know what happened. It's the same old story - the sky fell.

Just because it is small, nobody listened to the chicken.

1249788 2011-12-20 10:13:00 Saw it on the news tonight where the guy on the ground grabbed the line and caused the crash. Bobh (5192)
1249789 2011-12-20 11:06:00 That guy hasn't been spoken to by CAA yet.

"Anderson was angry the CAA had not spoken to him before releasing its preliminary findings.

"I've never been interviewed by the CAA but they're supposed to be coming up this Thursday. I've always been available anytime to talk about it but they've never once talked to me." " www.stuff.co.nz

Immediately after the accident the pilot wasn't blaming the rigger www.radionz.co.nz so I wonder what he thought was to blame then.
