| 1250489 | 2011-12-25 06:44:00 | I think Mum was hell-bent on getting us drunk this year for dessert. The trifle had double helpings of Sherry, and the Brandy sauce tasted more brandy than sauce |

| 1250490 | 2011-12-25 07:54:00 | I think i've just had the worst Christmas Tea (dinner) i have ever had in my whole 15 years of existence. 2 bits of garlic bread, and some extremely dry chicken with no flavour. Hey, I know someone who exists on lettuce sandwiches and porridge all the time. And I watched a woman shopping with a Winz card last week, she had the usual sort of stuff in the trolley, loo paper, washing paper, bag of potatoes and so on, and 1 5kg bag of chicken pieces. At checkout she was getting them to keep a running total and had to leave her chicken. It was the only meat in the trolley. No, there were no junk foods or soft drinks.... If I had been paid that day and not just in there for some bits, I would have bought it for her.... Should have anyway, felt quite stink for her.... Grandchild had eaten before hand so just picked and ate loads of strawberries and had some pate and crostini, she seemed quite happy with that... |
