2011-12-24 22:36:00 | I got a keyring. Don't care - don't need anything, just some help to trim neighbours privet, which will be happening in about 15 minutes time..............Both other members of the household roped in to assist before grand daughter arrives and the playing begins..... | pctek (84) | |
2011-12-24 23:14:00 | funny you should say that pc, old lady next door had a privet that dropped flowers in our yard all of the past two weeks, and I woke up to it completely gone this morning, and most of her huge backyard trees trimmed in half. Our other neighbour brought mum some beautiful flowers from her garden too. We have some nice neighbours.

2011-12-25 01:13:00 | I was given chocolates by different people. I have to wonder if they are trying to fatten me up so that I can be Santa Clause next year. :D | Bobh (5192) | |
2011-12-25 04:44:00 | Got husband one of those wee remote control helicopters. Great, except the controller takes 6 x AA's and it won't charge the helicopter off rechargeables - too low a voltage - they need to be 1.5v. Anyone modified them? I was thinking maybe it can be dismantled and arranged to have a 9v rechargeable instead. Slightly over buying batteries now... Got given one today. Good fun. I want to get a bigger one and then hook up a camera to it. Was his one a Digitech as the manual that came with mine is one of the worst I have come across and they have the controls muddled up so when they say the left one it is the right one.

Wow, lucky you. I was a good neighbour and returned all the cuttings to his side. :D Grandchild arrived during, so she stood on the back of the ute with me while I chopped, then we had rides up and down the driveway. Massive fun.... |

2011-12-25 18:25:00 | Best present like ever. At 0900hrs my neighbour bought over a l litre of rum in company with his brother inlaw. Said it was for the free work I had done for him on his vehicles. I unscrewed the top off it and crushed it so the whole bottle had to be drunk then as there as you do.

2011-12-25 19:28:00 | I was given a solar powered garden monarch butterfly. It flutters around while the sun is out. I found one of my cats showing an interest in it. She must have decided that it was either too hard to catch or that it was not very tasty and so quickly lost interest in it :yuck:. | Bobh (5192) | |
