| 1250343 | 2011-12-25 03:39:00 | I hardly ever use very secure passwords, they are a pain in the arse to type as well as to remember and my work makes me change mine every 6 weeks and doesn't allow more than about 4 characters to be the same. I use an app on my smartphone to keep track of them, and it has a simple password I never change...... Thing is though, I'm not supposed to write them down, they aren't supposed to be simple and easy, and my memory just isn't that good. So if the draw on a picture thing is easy to remember and theoretically more secure I'm all for it. I turned on the pattern unlock feature of my phone (Galaxy S) not because I wanted to keep it locked, but because I actually find it easier than the default swipe to unlock setting. I like the 4 random words Idea, except most of the passwords I have require some non alphabetic characters (work requires 2 or more for the main log on). Incidentally Fred that signature looks familiar, ManOwar - Black Wind Fire and Steel perhaps ? been ages but the lyrics seem right. |
