2012-04-30 11:19:00 | Looks like that error means there's a rule at the other end (its blocking your name, or your ISP/domain). Is this a work or home email youre sending to? If you sent this from your isp email addy, try sending it from hotmail or gmail. If you use them. See if it works

2012-04-30 11:27:00 | Its possible that the "550 Rule imposed mailbox access for " is relating to spam -- the mail server may be detecting your mails as spam for some reason :2cents: (maybe they dont like the jokes) lol

2012-04-30 12:01:00 | I've used my business address on Orcon, my private address on Xtra and my alternate 'last ditch' Gmail option, all with the same result so it looks like his company account is blocking. I've just sent again to their generic "Contact Us" address so maybe that will work. I'll know in a few minutes, they bounce PDQ. Cheers Billy 8-{) :(

2012-05-01 01:14:00 | Well, it got through to the generic address ok, so it is a block of some sort on both of his personalised email addresses. I suspect it may be an attachment size limit, but why that would apply to an individual who needs regularly to receive attachments as opposed to the Info-Desk which just answers customer queries is something that baffles me somewhat. I wasted hours on this yesterday what with all the checks I made on my system etc as well as sending and waiting to see if they would bounce back. Spookily, the first call I received today was from a client who ended up needing to send me a message with attachments, so I asked him to send it to my Gmail address as well and explained why, whereupon he promptly told me they was suffering exactly the same problem with one of their clients and he has to fax them instead now, because they have no alternate address yet will not take any action to sort the problem. | 1272982 | 2012-05-04 06:19:00 | We have about 10 mailbox's for staff and now and again they get full and will not receive mail. Is there anything in the Subject field which could resemble spam? I have trouble with xtra mail at times.

| 1272983 | 2012-05-04 08:02:00 | No, It was a bog standard business email of a type I send him at regular intervals. I got my message through by sending it to admin@ and they forwarded it to his mailbox. Maybe his box was full or something. I'll send him a test mail next week just in case it is a bigger issue.
