| 12150 | 2001-05-03 23:50:00 | Hi, Recently, when trying to shut down my computer, my system 'Hangs' on the 'Windows Is Shutting Down' screen, it will not move from there. To shut down, I need to turn off the 'Power Switch', while on this screen. When I turn my machine on again, the...'Windows was not shut down properly'...message appears. I did think this problem had been 'aired' before, but by 'searching' the 'Entire PC World Site' I cannot bring up anything that is exactly relevant to my particular problem. Can anyone suggest the cause and a possible cure please...? Thank you...'C' |
