My modem answers OK but then doesn't 'talk'. ie. makes no squeaky noises to establish communications. It is an internal Creative Phone Blaster 28.8/33.6 Pnp Voice device and there are no conflicts - all devices in system are using there own IRQ's etc. It rings out OK and hangs up at end etc perfectly. It connects to another modem using Carbon Copy 32 utility (like PCanywhere) when set as a remote user, but when set to 'wait for call' as host it doesn't establish connection with remote caller - it answers, but then nothing - complete silence on it's part.
Anybody got any good ideas? |
